Last of the spring green? Already??
It seems like itâs barely started but spring appears to being already heading toward sprung where I live. At least here (central Louisiana) itâs forecast to be almost 90F for the next week or so. Maybe itâll cool down again, but I wouldnât be surprised⌠it is May, after all.
Hereâs to the last of the spring greenery, before it dulls down slightly to become summer foliage. One lone green tree under the high cirrus skies ahead of coming overcast and rain.
forgot to mention, sooc nikon fa, 105 f2.5 ai and 100 iso delta
Today at my window board, in the sun.
Voigtländer VITOMATIC IIb. Lens Voigtländer COLOR SKOPAR 2.8/50. Donât know any background. Itâs just a nice piece of technique.
And one from outside. Dated first of May. Thatâs one of my favorite views over river Main and village Mainberg. Here you can see castle Mainberg. The millionaire heir and playboy Gunter Sachs was born in this castle in 1932.
My phone post-processing make the cloud look painted. So Iâll call that one âHappy Little Cloudâ.
Just got off the ship from a 15-day Panama Canal transit cruise. Took plenty of pictures, but my tablet is full and Iâm having to juggle USB drives to keep redundant backup. So, canal pictures will have to wait a bit. In the meantime, a Grand Cayman beach:
and a near-twilight capture from the balcony:
Managed to take this picture of a female Mallard duck with the nictitating membrane half-drawn across the eye.
Very nice light, sharpness and bokeh. The membrane is an extra!
The only camera I have been using for the past two years has been from my phone. Blurry and candid. Low-quality resize and no edits.
