I really like that photo, especially how you didn’t try to over brighten it.
I like the slightly more graphically abstract nature of the third shot. Somehow it hangs together better, visually.
They look like fun decorations too
Two shots from the ‘Middle Age market’ today (fantasy-loving/role-playing folk in Uster).
We did actually drink from the coffee, and survived!
The “coffee speciality” I drank was called “Dragon’s Blood”. No wonder there are no more dragons – doesn’t look healthy:
Crikey! Looks like dragon’s something; not sure about dragon’s blood.
I love events like this. I have a few penciled into my calendar for this year. I really want to get to a few cosplay meets — some amazing opportunities there. And, of course, there’s the annual Elvis Festival.
The trouble is, I’m very shy when it comes to photographing strangers. If they are on a stage, fine, but otherwise, I’m always worried about how they would react. This is from a previous such event, from 2018:
Nice! I really like that shot — seriously; I love it!
I’m not shy at all. MY problem is my confidence in getting a good photo — that’s what holds me back. I’m going to do some street portraiture this year — that involves just walking up to complete strangers that I find interesting and asking them for a photo. As long as they don’t ask to see the result, I should be fine.
Streetlife starts to come out in earnest, nearly 20°C today. Tomorrow back to 11°…
Cinema Ostertor with the “Heroes Bar” and a really old stationary shop.
Italian Cafe at our street corner.
I’ve got exactly the same hesitation
That second shot is nice. Good sky, interesting view, nice angle.
Thanks
Nice Land Rover… a 110! Mid-80s I think - definitely pre-Defender by the door handles and sliding windows. (takes off LR enthusiast hat again)
looks Italian?
