This is an abandoned croft near a hamlet called Badyo on the road between Pitlochry and Glen Shee.
Three versions, conventional, black and white and split toned

I like that. The only (small) thing, to me, is that it feels very slightly tilted - the right wall is vertical, but not the left corner, with whatsit-perspective. I would just rotate it a little anti-clockwise…
I know this thread isn’t for critique - I’ll edit this comment if you like!
The picture is fine, the building is at fault
I am being semi-serious, the angles on the building are all over the place. I may try some perspective correction on them.
Oh, well that’s ok then!
Thanks for the reply.
In that case maybe I should put a warning before it; Do not view unless your seated close to the ground!
The last few days I have been reading up on Elle Stone’s ICC profiles
as well as experimenting a lot. There still are lots that I simply do not
understand; apart from that, these spring colours turned out quite
majestic
Have fun!

@vbs Nice framing: has a rollercoaster feel to the first image. (The haze and fringing is a bit annoying.)
Yeah - I noticed a bit too late the fringing. Will have to work towards making it better.
For those interested, the real inscription on the monument in Dutch from that time:
Ter Eer der Stryders der Nieuw Zeelandsche afdeeling
De Veldslag van Meesen
7-sten tot 14-den Juni 1917
Translated:
In Honor of the Combatants of the New Zealand Division
The Battle of Meesen

When I had finished my little project on the centre of Hyde, it gave me another idea, many of the towns round about were suffering in the same way. I decided to take pictures of other buildings and businesses that had closed down or were shuttered.
Yesterday, at the tram stop in front of Messe Basel (we visited the event called Fantasy Basel). Not a good composition, just a quick grab with the phone while waiting for the tram.
Reminds me of this one from the Islay Hotel on (surprise, surprise) Islay. For those who like peat in their whisky, Islay is whisky heaven.
For those who like peat in their whisky
And handrails makers like to drink a lot of peat, it seems.
Laphroaig FTW.
Laphroaig was my first love, but I have forsaken it for Ardbeg Corryvrecken and Bruichladdich Octomore
