A weird rainbow, snapped with the phone. On the right is west; the Sun is setting behind a row of trees at the foot of Uetliberg.
A windy day at Brean Down (near Weston Super-mare)

I like the monochrome JPEGs from this camera.

iPhone. Just for the Dickensian-style college name. Not a descriptive, but named after Mr Goodenough, who should be in a Dickens novel.
Lesson in planning. Had to vacate place I was staying in London at 10am but train wasn’t until 6pm. Weather forecast terrible and had only brought backpack with all my stuff that doubled as camera bag during week. So decided to store bag (with camera) rather than carrying it around all day. Then came across this scene in Regent’s Park and only had the phone for pics.
My fisheye binge continues. After all since the images are directly out of the camera (can’t really crop them), they also belong here.
I think the one with the columns and the coffered ceiling is my favorite so far.
Are you able to revisit that one at all? I’m wondering if you can keep the same compositing, but maybe move a little bit to get the ceiling lamp to bend a little more to the centre.
Great shots… That fisheye looks like a lot of fun.
I was just looking through some old photos, and I really like these. They are as-cooked by an iPhone 13 Pro Max. They were taken at sunrise from the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park, Maine.
I like the gentle swirl in the bokeh
On a walkabout this morning and finally brought my camera along. I was channeling my interior @andabata:
(Note: I am not a macro photographer by any stretch of the imagination, as these samples will demonstrate well, I think.)
The great thing about the UK is that the crappiest places often have the best chips. There may actually be an inverse correlation.
I must say, those look “right”.
