[Capture Challenge] Straight out of Compton, well actually camera of course

You are allowed to use:

  1. Any settings in your camera that affect the look
  2. Many cameras offer some editing features from the view screen. Example from the manual of a Fuji camera. Those too.

You are not allowed to do any editing after copying it from the SD card except for resizing it to 1920x1080

This is timely!
I’ve been really enjoying shooting monochrome in camera recently - also for the first time I’ve actually been using and enjoying the wifi on the Sony A7s to share directly to my phone.

Recent shot from the weekend.

I got to warn you. Shooting B+W can become addictive. Ask me how I know.

When I export from my camera to my phone it provides the jpeg for viewing… Typically I’ll take those over to Snapseed, but I’ll post one up here. From a recent hike in the hills after seeing that the Aurora might have been present:

Edit: sorry for not resizing to the requested image size constraints.

Just an iPhone shot converted from HEIC and resized. I took it at the beach last week. The glaring light is the full moon.
