Capture sharpening in the Demosaic module

Hi folks … just discovered the CS option in Darktable in the demosiac module
One my main machine I am running the 5.2 .0+88 dev build by M Straeten … there it is not showing ???
I need to use that build as my R5 II and R1 are not supported by other builds … as far as I know.
Would love to use the CS option in my installed build , is there a way to implement it ??
Or do i have to wait that somebody will do it … ??

Any info on that would be very much appreciated

that’s a feature for upcoming 5.4 release. be patient until 5.2.1 is released, then my osx builds in current OSX Build will switch to current master heading to 5.4 which contains that module

Hi there,
additional question to this option:

Is this the same algorithm as used in diffuse or sharpen?
Looking at the position in the pixel pipeline I assume that it’s not just a partial copy of the gui to another module - right?
