Be patient and use the script in current OSX Build - #9 by MStraeten. It needs several attempts ( i got up to 40 attempts) until all kernels are built properly :wink:

I always download and use your development versions, but they all crash if I set the view to full screen.

I have been using Darktable 2.6.2 for past 7 months. If I download the development versions given here what precautions I have to follow.
I saw now that 2.6.3 is released so if I download that version what is the difference between that and your development versions

Can I use both the versions or only the development version
I am using a hackintosh with latest Catalina

if you use the development version there’s no way back to 2.6.3 aside using a backup of your ~/.config/darktable/ since the database format changed.
2.6.3 is a bugfix release and doesn’t contain several new features beeing introduced with the next major release end of the year. (you can have a look on the upcoming release notes for the differences: darktable/RELEASE_NOTES.md at master · darktable-org/darktable · GitHub)
I found 2.7. being stable enough to use it for my productive use, but that doesn’t have to be so for others too. (i dont use a hackintosh or catalina)

downloaded the latest build, few problems

The font looks big and different, is there specific fonts I have to download?

When I open v2.6.2 edited files with this build there is a strange mark next to filmic module in the history stack

strange behaviour when clicking lower modules in the history stack some modules disappear.

Have been successful in enabling GPU acceleration with the bash script

which additional/enhanced module are in this build compared to v2.6.2?
These are some initial observations will post more once I am able to use it more.

i had to tweak the screen_dpi_overwrite setting in darktablerc in the config directory to get proper font sizes.
The icon at filmic indicates this module is deprecated - it’s replaced with filmic rgb and just available for backward compatibility
the additional/changed modules you can determine by reading the upcoming release notes: https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/blob/master/RELEASE_NOTES.md it doesnt make sense to copy it’s content here

I forgot to write that when first I tried to unable OpenCL by running darktable from the terminal with -d option I saw some errors for some fonts not available as well as some error in opening GT window will report once I have more time to use it, experiment different things.

Can you be more specific about what changes to be made in the darktablerc file.

I am unable to find the equalizer module in the latest build! Name changed? or removed?

How to remove chromatic aberration ? with both lens correction and CA module ON not able to remove, my lens sigma 30mm f1.4 DC DN is supported.

You haven’t said what version of darktable you’re using, so its hard to say where Equalizer/Contrast Equalizer is.
