You can either wait for an official bugfix release (I’m not sure we’ll have one), or until the next big release, 5.4 (released at Christmas, usually), or use one of the nightly / weekly builds.

Weekly builds are provided by @wpferguson , see his ‘windows insider’ posts. The latest is darktable windows insider program 9/14/25. [Edit: by the time I updated my post, @123sg already posted the link to Bill’s builds.]
There’s no need to uninstall darktable. You can either install the nightly in its place (back up your config and database, otherwise you won’t be able to go back in case something breaks), or install the nightly to a separate directory, and adjust settings to use a separate configuration directory (see --configdir at darktable user manual - darktable). I always use the latest build as my daily driver, and hardly ever run into problems, but YMMV.
