Me too, but I think @garagecoder is doing a very professional job. I found some threads with him, like:
It looks like Upscale [Patch2x] is @garagecoder latest plugin for upscaling. Gimp shows it under testing. So I assume all his experiences of earlier plugins are included here.

So I think it doesn’t matter much which plugin I use.
