Is this the same crop bug?

I was playing with Steven’s Play Raw image and came across something a little unusual. After cropping early in my workflow I later went back to look at the crop. When I clicked the Select button, I got this:

Granted this was a pretty severe edit - I was deliberately going after an extreme look.

Is this another manifestation of the display-only same crop issues we’ve seen off and on? The output JPG was fine.

What’s the peoblem, exactly? I don’t think I understand…

I was referring to the heavy “shadow” outside the right and top of the cropped area.

This is just how the vignette filter works, nothing unusual.
