this rock has a patch of garnets on it , i wanted them to pop out of the photo , it was a very dull day and very cold thats why ive kept it a bit blue.
i am very interested to see how others deal with this .

I think @dqpcoxeas is right. Our edits are too bluish. So a further version. Still bluish but not to that extent.
i am just interested about how others would edit it , maybe learn something
the garnets are the subject and the rest is context is how i saw it .
what i was trying to do is get the garnets to show up, being so small they kind of disappear in the flat light , i should have said this at the start!!

The garnets are quite small. It was fairly easy to make the area the garnets are in stand out but very difficult to make individual garnets visible.
I did what I could. I zoomed in and selected a garnet point in Color Equalizer. I increased its saturation and brightness. It helped a tiny bit, but in the end, there was still no “pop” to them.

thanks everyone for having a go , i am enjoying looking at how you approached this . i think they are too small and its probably just too dark to bring out the garnets .perhaps better light on another day or maybe a bit of flash would have helped .
