No rating on jpg output

I have a raw image file which got a rating in RT. After saving it as jpg the rating is not there:

exiftool "-xmp:all" 0396.005.jpg 
XMP Toolkit                     : XMP Core 4.4.0-Exiv2
Rating                          : 0

I changed to whatever rating/stars, but this will not be exported.

It seems that there was a similar topic, but this is old (2017-2019):
No color label and rating in jpg output

My environment:
OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
RT: 5.10-1build4 amd64

Do I need to tick a checkbox to have this done? Normal text in IPTC will be exported.

Did RawTherapee ever save the rating to exported images? It’s possible that the rating system is used within RawTherapee only. It will, however, load ratings from the metadata and allow you to transfer that rating to the exported image.
