Not able to process compressed files in Darktable.

Hi, I have just discovered darktable does not process compressed raw files in darkroom.

Does anyone know of a program that can either convert to lossless compressed? Alternatively an easy to install on Linux (running Unbuntu 20.4) and reliable alternative editing program (doesn’t need to be flashy - will use as a one off to do the images I presently have)?

Maybe just make DNG files and use whatever program you want???

Canon CR2 files are compressed and they work in darktable.
Which camera model are you using?

He’s using the Fujifilm X-T4.
