When I’m in RT (5.8 Dev), and I click on “Edit current image in external editor” (ctrl-e), I get an uncompressed, 16-bit .tif file in GIMP. I can convert it to .jpeg from there if I want to, but is there any way to have it export as a .jpeg instead of a .tif? I’m not seeing that as an option anywhere in RT Preferences. Thanks!
See her Edit Current Image in External Editor - RawPedia (rawtherapee.com) whats going on. And TIFF-16 is used for quality reasons. You cant switch this.
