That would be the heat island effect.

rawproc:
- dcraw open: colorspace=prophoto;gamma=linear;whitebalance=auto;
- blackwhitepoint:rgb,0,54 (poor man’s filmic…)
- whitebalance:patch,1009,813,1.5 (bit more work than dcraw’s auto)
- curve:rgb,0.0,0.0,69.0,40.0,102.0,88.8,255.0,255.0 (contrast curve)
- saturation:1.40 (muted colors, bring them up a bit)
- resize:1080,0,lanczos3 (resize for posting, but not too small)
- sharpen:1 (because I like to say the word ‘acutance’…
)

Remark: Just like the dog image, this image is also underexposed. You will get the best out of your camera sensor if you expose so as to have highlight just below clipping (ETTR). Also, is ISO 200 the lowest for 5D?
