Not just open but extract, otherwise it doesn’t work like I assumed before.
It might be helpful if you would make a suggestion as to WHAT documentation. Is it SIril,Starnet or Apple. If you are talking about Starnet then I have followed the given instructions and still get the same result
For Mac users you need to change some settings.
https://siril.readthedocs.io/en/stable/processing/stars/starnet.html
I thought I had cracked it!! Decided to totally start again from scratch so uninstalled siril and Starnet and restarted.
Downloaded Siril and Starnet, installed Starnet in Documents, follwed the instructions and Starnet apeared in the preferences
but got this message about Libtensorflow
pressed cancel and it re-appeared pressed cancel and it went away so I thought all was OK
Opened a result.fit file and worked through everything and got to Star removal
As you can see, Execute is not available
Please look at my latest post to Indysbike
That Libtensorflow message is probably because cuda acceleration is not available on Macs. But we can’t see the image.
I’ve managed to sort out the problem with more than a little help from Rich at Deep Space Astro.I was looking in Siril for the Allow Always command and realised it is in the Mac System settings
Happy Days
