I am not sure this will share very well but I stumbled on it while looking for photographic sites that have RSS feed. Some pictures are quite nice and they give background on how it was shot.
I would have liked to see other similar sites. Specifically if there is something that is related to art - like paintings from the past.

Recently, I have been hearing a radio ad or public notice that is anti-AI, calling it altogether intrusive* (asterisk because I do not remember the exact phrasing) and encouraging folks to continue to tune into flawed but quality broadcasts.

I love retrofuturism. It feels like nowadays it’s hard for anything cultural to really feel refreshing, new, or futuristic. Especially with the hopeful outlook that they had back then. I really agree with Mark Fisher in that we are stuck in this hauntological loop.

Found the catalogue for a 1990 Franco-Japanese exhibition of photos of Tokyo since WWII in Oxfam’s Summer Sale. Includes some well known and lesser known (to me) pictures including this pairing.

Anyone heard of modders that discovered a way to show temperature hotspots for Nvidia RTX cards, which was normally hidden and you’d get just an average temp? On top of that, from what I’ve heard, it turns out each VRAM chip has its own temperature sensor, which could be quite useful for troubleshooting throttling…
This is indeed the hardest thing to find.

I have a hard time remembering which side the charging port of our car is. Most cars have a little arrow next to the tank-indicator or battery indicator. Just noticed ours has one as well 
.

My EV has a front charging port, slightly off-centre. On the rare occasions (like today - big road-trip) that I charge away from home, this makes using a kerb mounted charger very convenient. The person in the next bay over had a difficult time with the heavy lead from the charger running around the back of his car and to the charging port which was on the wrong side for the bay he was in.

Yeah that is an useful feature, especially for. Fast chargers with short High Performance Cables.
We are currently on vacation with our fairly short range Peugeot e208.
I actually don’t mind the charging breaks every 1,5-2 hours. But the software on those chargers is often annoying (today I could simply not end the session, had to call their support) and we had some bad luck with charging stations with cut cables and closed restaurants.
That being said all this is nothing compared to the fury Legoland Billunds parking accommodations gave me: 30€ parking fee, has to be payed through an (annoying) web-app. Made a small mistake entering our license plate and consequently got a ticket. Tried to appeal the ticket because I DID PAY THEM THEIR FANTASY SUM ALREADY. Answer: No fuck you, pay the 130€ Penalty fee and better do so quickly. And the parking ticket is of course non-refundable.

Too bad you can’t charge an EV wirelessly, like a watch or phone … Just drive over the charger and stop for a while.

The technology exists. I think in some cities buses are charged wirelessly when stopping.
