Is that one of the frozen waterfall playraw-s?
Sometimes the play raw images and showcase ones leave me singing âItâs a Wonderful worldâ ; I spare a thought for those it isnât
I made the mistake of telling the subject I poke people in the eye on the screen to get the M50 eye auto focus going
If you can work around its limitations itâs good value for money
Technical quality for value for money is not one of the strong points of the RX100 or at least the recent model
There are some advantages
a quiet mechanical leaf shutter
less imposing on the subject matter getting good relaxed spontaneous pictures
Itâs good to be in the small format group; not many other options for one inch square
fast to use
forgiving high depth of field
I can at last join the dental discussion
I think the dentist has got one over me for giving me a 2:30 appointment for tooth ache:

Itâs a fairly long-standing joke between us
No⌠it is the same location, but from a couple weeks back after it had thawed a bit.

How to make huge edits which nobody can oversee is described here:
Shameless self-promotion (joke)
Random event of the day: I had to stop my dog from eating dirt today. Again. More proof that long ago dogs split from wolves in an evolutionary rupture known as the Great Hunter-Beggar Divide.
Saw this in the news last week:
Great photos. A part of me wouldâve liked this to be filmed instead, especially for being such a rare event.

Iâm teaching a friendâs five-year-old how to read the time, but Iâm starting to lose patienceâŚ
âNo! Look! Itâs easy! The first hand is the hour hand, the second hand is the minute hand, and the third hand is the second hand!â
I mean⌠how is that even remotely confusing?
Somebody did a whole sketch on this. It just might have been an Irish comedian called Dave Allen? (1936-2005)
And youâre quite sure that it is not the minute hand that is the second hand?? â OK, then, it might in reality normally be the longest, but just for the sake of it âŚ
But basically it is the same with right and left â itâs just so easy:
The right hand is where the thumb sits at left (-- while the right palm ⌠)
Who uses analogue clocks anyway?
Also (Taraxacum officinale - Wikipedia):
The common dandelion is well known for its yellow flower heads that turn into round balls of many silver-tufted fruit that disperse in the wind. These balls are called âclocksâ in both British and American English.
We have a few around the house, mostly to go with decor. Yes, we have a French Provincial water closet in the house, talk to My Wife about thatâŚ
My statement about all that is to set my truck clock to display 24-hour time. So there.
Well in Ontario Canada, if you want to renew your driverâs license and youâre over eighty, you have to prove that you can still see and prove you are still mentally competent by drawing an analogue clock indicating 9 minutes to 2 (or something like that). No second hand though.
How can you do that, then, because the second hand is the minute hand!
What do you mean our hand?
That is an AI image!
