Somehow this got unnoticed until now… the output was present in all the development builds i have provided.
Anyhow, I am now re-building all the packages without the extra output.

I’m not, as said earlier, too good in programming and too fluent in IT but what concerns me a little why RT 5.7 installer file is ca 10 k smaller than 5.6 - anything missing ?
Fewer bugs.
thnx
The output from the new packages should be OK:
$ wine .wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/RawTherapee/5.7/rawtherapee.exe -v -w
RawTherapee, version 5.7

Sorry again for this unexpected mess…
Hi, now seems to be ok
thnx
Thank you so much for quickly repairing the great program.
When opening Raw files in Gimp with Rawtherapee 5.7, you don’t mind spaces and diacritics (national characters) in the file name.
The new site on the 1080p monitor looks nice and fresh.
Does RT support DNG from film scanners? My friend complains that RT does not work with Minolta Scan Dual IV DNG’s.
@AlexandrTantsura if it’s a proper DNG file, then RawTherapee most likely supports it. Why not try and see for yourself.
Thanks for the quick response. How can he check is it the proper DNG or not?
Try to open it in RT or post a sample file here.
So RT opens the DNG, but the film negative tool is not available, correct? Can you post the problematic DNG file?
I guess it is an already demosaiced DNG file…
Film negative tool works only for bayer and xtrans files
Ah yes, the scan dual is a film scanner, not a camera.
Yes, you are correct. I ask my friend for some files.
As stated above, the film negative tool only works for Bayer and xtrans files, e.g. if you’re shooting your film with a DSLR camera.
You are probably right. The film scanner is not a bayer.
Maybe it makes sense to post this in the tool description?
