@Morgan_Hardwood looked at the release blog post. Is it possible to get Retinex translated to English? For Wavelets, can we get the page to be like the other pages where each section shows the sliders it is talking about and before/after photos?

Hope that team’ll release newer versions more frequently. I’m ok with -dev (-unstable) branch, but (Linux) people are not. :slight_smile:

You mean distros mind, @Dariusz_Duma? I’ve been enjoying your OBS repo for Debian stable for quite some time. Looking forward to the RT5 builds!

@djotaku yes, I will get around to updating RawPedia at some point. If someone who speaks French feels like helping, register for a RawPedia account and translate Retinex/fr - RawPedia else I will have to use Google Translate.

@Dariusz_Duma new versions will be more frequent.

Version 5 from the download page http://rawtherapee.com/downloads is Gtk 3.18 and the themes don’t work.

@TooWaBoo what does “themes don’t work” mean, could you be more specific? Which ones and how?

The TooWaBlue theme is not in the preferences list (wrong naming).

btw: I thought Gtk 3.22 will be the current version.

Congrats on v5!!! It opens in 4 seconds as opposed to the previous 10 seconds it took for 4.2.xxxx (for me anyway)

They will find a more permanent location once I update my website as well as when they are uploaded to RT website.

@TooWaBoo oh dear… I’ll investigate.

That’s not something we can enforce, it’s up to each builder. Versions 3.16 through 3.18 are recommended because they don’t exhibit the two bugs >=3.20 exhibit.

@partha thanks, did you build from out xz tarball or git?

Also, if anyone is interested, I created portable Windows 64bit builds. They are similar to my portable GIMP builds.

They are not part of the official RT builds and so if one is interested, I can make them available.
