Hi everyone!
If you have a Fuji camera capable of setting the recipe Classic Cuban Neg could you please set it up shoot a couple of pictures and send the RAF + jpeg files my way so I can try creating a style in Darktable matching the look? With my older fuji I can’t really achieve that look since many options required by it are missing from my camera.
When I started out with photo editing I used the classic chrome simulation on my x100f as guidance to my edits. Trying to match that look thought me a lot about what each slider does in darktable and now I feel much more confident in achieving certain looks. Also that classic chrome look lives in my darktable as a style and it often serves as a starting point for my edits now.
Yes I know that there’s a classic chrome LUT in DT but using that would mean leaving the scene referred workflow and thus the results would be harder to tweak to my liking.
In the fujifilm subreddit I see lots of people using the recipe above and I would really like to replicate it in DT. But without jpeg and raw file pairs I can just guestimate what it does and if I had the pairs than I could more exactly match the look. Creating that style would be one more “starting point” for my future edits and who knows, trying to match the look exactly might teach me a thing or two about editing yet again!
Thanks for the assistance in advance and have a nice day
