Is it just me or do you also find scrolling in lighttable not fluid and way to fast ? I keep ‘bouncing’ around 
It’s not my system’s settings 'cause for example in Nikon ViewNX-i and other applications scrolling is more fluid and easy-going and thus more practical to use.
Is there an option for scrollingspeed in dt’s settings ?
Any other suggestions ?

I had this issue in the past at a time when darktable 3.2.1 was to be released.
It was fixed in darktable 3.2.1, which is the current stable release.
What darktable version are you using and in what OS?

Hum, I’m on Ubuntu here.
Although it probably doesn’t make much sense, you could try closing darktable, renaming .config/darktable to .config/darktable-old and open darktable again.
Then import a folder with lots of pics and see if it scrolls nicely.
(When you’re done, just close darktable, delete .config/darktable and rename .config/darktable-old to .config/darktable, so you get back to where you were)
Hello Gustavo, thanks for your advice. Though no change after deleting .config.darktable and starting a new one. Scrolling remains too fast. So if anyone has further recommendations, I’ll be glad to hear about it.
