I finally came around to this photo of the singular snow drop in our garden (consequently the same one like here). I struggeled with getting the colours right. Everything is just somewhat green and unexciting… Maybe you guys have some ideas .
My attempt. I struggled with understanding your issue about greens in the picture as more than 90% of the picture is green. I experimented with color calibrations white balance settings and decided as shot in camera seemed fine for a nice white flower. I darkened the shadows a little to reduce the green. 260224_130222_DSC08740.ARW.xmp (18.2 KB)
Thanks for the lovely snowdrop(s)… Great shot. I highlighted (cropped to) the flowers, so reduced the green ‘space’. I also reduced the green brightness in Advanced; Colour appearance & Lighting… increased black… played about a fair bit… in RawTherapee 5.12-372
Awesome! You brought out some redness in the moss which produces some colour contrast, exactly what I felt was missing in this shot. I looked into your xmp…impressive stack of modules !
Well…not particularly happy with my last go, I waited for a cloudy part of dusk so light is better here… and had another go. Ditched some new modules for old… I like this version better.
