I have an exciting update! I’ve officially finished the UI, and I am thrilled that all lenses now capture RAW on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The settings are working perfectly too! I’m just fixing a minor white balance hiccup. Next up: Darkroom and the Hexagon Halide build. Still much to do! Hyped!!

Hey, i tried it. It does not do anything. I entered the app, the ui loads, no cameras working. I tried to develop an already existing dng, i go to open library it is empty and says P1.
Ui looks good, i was wondering in developing mode is there any chance to have sliders along with the image to see the modification in realtime? As it looks now a big menu opens up with sliders, and not seeing the image would mean just moving them blindly so to speak

Hey! Are you seeing anything in the preview window, and can you cycle through your phone’s lenses ? Just a heads-up, it takes about 2-3 seconds to process a shot right now on my device as it does the same processing just like the main spectrafilm repo. I have not used any luts for this implimentation. Everything currently runs on CPU.
I’ll push the updates to Git shortly and grab another device to check the logcat and compatibility. I definitely want to add AI bokeh down the road, but getting the app super stable is my top priority first! I actually rebuilt the MotionCam code from the ground up, but I’ll leave the DNG video stuff to their team.
Could you share your camerakeys, maybe something is hidden.
Export all data one by one for all camera modules. Also might be hidden so you could also manually enter

Ran this today- I cant say for sure if the program is to blame but my M1 wouldn’t become inactive while installed. Easily noticeable for me as it’s set to 3 minutes before screensaver/lock screen. Issue only cleared after I deleted from the system.
Lets just say i just wanna develop already existing DNGs. It cant do that. I gave full access to files, library is empty.
The moment i switch lenses it exits. This is after the first onstall. When i reopen the app, it exits the app instantly.
I have motioncam pro for taking the shots, i only wanted to develop existing DNGs, but library always shows as empty.
Initially I was gonna politely ask you to make a new thread as I suggested above to everyone else with new projects but …

How are you in any way or form connected to the Motioncam community? Forget about the team. Mirsad, Sebastian and Leonard , except for these three I don’t think anyone has the access and although the project started as FOSS but it has been a VERY long time and everything has changed since then.
So, how were you able to “build motioncam code from the ground up?”
Reverse engineered it? Asked Ai to “make a Motioncam equivalent app and don’t make any mistakes”? Spreading now lies are we?
It was going so well and for a second I was even happy that someone is trying something for Android even if you vibe code it all…I didn’t even mention any other things that looked off.
I really hope moderators would have a look and clean this up because I have lost all the trust here and do not feel like encouraging someone who doesn’t know where to stop🙂
I’ve already seen someone implemented Spektrafilm as well as the filmsim module both in a single RAW editor for testing 5-6 weeks ago at least so it’s not like we won’t have people doing it…I just want them to at least be honest because open source to me is anything but the trust we build around the community as there aren’t any physical boundaries stopping us from making bad choices.
It would be a good idea to make @Akshay_Sharma aware that this is Open Source.

Spektrafilm is becoming very popular so it was only a matter of time before things like this happened.
I’m just scared what those youtubers will spit out…I’m already cringing out thinking of the click baits and showcases like this is THE HOLY shortcut to get some silly thing… without any prior research or even care for what the project is about but plain dilution of the idea for personal benefits…
I do want this to go big so the community benefits but ig it is inevitable. Part of the fame I suppose.

You might not know i have been studying both the repo for like a year. And last month i figured everything out. Its out there the only thing is to study and implement things in your own way. And i also just said that i will push everything to git. Meaning everything is going to be open source.
I am not a computer science person , i did not had any prior knowledge of coding , i am professionally a civil engineer. I have a job and even after that i started working on this project.
I will now stay quite. Will push everything on git eventually.
