Hey @arctic, what does one have to do include more film stocks?
I found these online - https://125px.com/docs/film/kodak/e55-2009_06.pdf - I know that the slide film support is not 100% now, but I would love to try the K25 anyway.
I have no idea where to start , other than asking you here haha.

You guys need to chill out.

Open source doesn’t preclude someone from charging money for something.

I don’t quite grasp why people are getting upset, but if it is that bad, then use the flag button and/or send me a message privately.

This took an insane amount of work and time, hopefully it will be helpful to you all matching, and getting closer to full emulation. Hope this helps!

unfortunately not allowing me to share a google drive link?

that is amazing @Anthonygansauer! thank you for all the effort in making this comparison, i am extremely grateful.
we’ll try to make the best use of it!

i do not see the link, could you double check? [update: ok, sorry, I’ve read your second comment ahahha]

for sure i wanna try to make a quick comparison with the new changes in the upcoming spektrafilm v0.3.3, and probe the situation.

and i am working to a new inhibition-couplers-model, and this give good ground for testing.

exciting!

spektrafilm v0.3.3 (not yet released) brings also the new lut export. if you wanna have fun and try the realtime lut feature of your lumix, here is a test LUT. i am having a lot of fun with my S9.
spektrafilm_v033_gold200_supraendura_1lut_vlog_srgb.zip (367.0 KB)

i feel that i will never take a non-spektrafilmed pic in my life at this point. :joy:

Cool!

What is the light source?

Daylight! 2pm direct light, I color checked the print in the exact same light setting and the grey card exactly matched (from my eye)

Sooooo excited! Thank you for this project! I’m a big nerd about this so I enjoy helping. Hopefully I’ll figure out why I can’t post a link soon!

Also with my intense meticulous testing I can get a 90% match just within spektra between digital EV0 and film EV0

Thanks! Is it shot inside or outside? It does not look like direct sunlight (but it is hard to judge!). One usually shoots in direct sunlight (no clouds) outside while also taking care to, if necessary, angle the target slightly to avoid any glare and at the same time trying to minimize shadows from the raised frame around each patch.

Do you use the same lens for film/digital? It looks that way from your spec.

I’m very thankful you’re working with one of my favorite films, Portra 400.

@Anthonygansauer it is better to make one post and quote what you’re replying to (highlight some text in a post and hover over it, a button called “quote” should appear, click it, then reply under it) than it is to make multiple posts. Since you’re relatively new, a bunch of your posts got caught by the spam filter because you posted too quickly in succession. I’ve allowed them thru, since its obviously not spam.

Or just write one post and edit it to add info if there’s been no posts added below it yet?

He’s still new and probably doesn’t have edit privs yet.

Outside in direct sun at 1:45pm, which where I’m from sun is peaking, same lens on both cameras, I don’t believe there is any glare or shadows that obscure anything.

my apologies! still learning how forums work. Is there a reason why I cant post a link?

Your effort here is truly appreciated!

Also, try to post and hyperlink instead of just a copy-paste link
Maybe this will work. You can see the hyperlink option in the text options on the upper part of the comment box

Shouldn’t be. Try again!

No worries, Hope this helps!
You just select the text and you hit the quote or whatever else you need to do with it and you can reply to multiple people/messages at the same time.

I cannot agree more!
