- Added Ubuntu 19.04
- Explained why Master no longer builds for all distributions.
Changelog:
- Added Fedora 31
Hi, thanks for the work on this.
I’ve recently opened a bug and it has already been fixed and merged into master.
However, ubuntu 18.04 is still behind that version, although ubuntu 19.04 and 19.10 are already up-to-date, as seen below.
Is this normal? (not putting a pressure on you, just curious… and a little anxious to finally use the fixed version )
EDIT: Actually I’m not grabbing the binaries, but using the standard sudo update/upgrade way. But the binaries here reflect the version that ubuntu picked during its upgrade process.
It seems there is build error “nothing provides debhelper >= 12” for
xUbuntu_18.04
x86_64 [unresolvable]
xUbuntu_18.10
x86_64 [unresolvable]
This is fixed now.
Thank you.
Debian Next Testing repository is not give a candidate to install. Can we fix it? Thanks
Which repository url exactly?
pick the distro you need. I will find out later who renamed it.
Thank you for clarification!
Nope, no success:
after copying the first line and punching in my password,
stefan@homeboy:~$ sudo sh -c "echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/graphics:/darktable:/master/xUbuntu_18.04/ /' > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/graphics:darktable:master.list"
It goes on like this and leads nowhere …
stefan@homeboy:~$ sudo apt-key add - < Release.key
bash: Release.key: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
stefan@homeboy:~$ apt-get update

Did you remove Pascal’s ppa and the old darktable package?
nope. didn’t remove anything so far.
EDIT: did it and now I have version 3.1.0~git135.9a97b2237
looks VERY different - different fonts and graphics … a bit flatter and I’m not a fan of the rey frame around the photo (prefered the black one), but the “Farbbereiche” tool (one below monochrome) has become WAY better!
So you choose the git master build
