I really like what you did with this, although I think James Popsys would have blown out the sky. He doesnât like skies to distract from his main subject.
Another afternoon walk, through Birnam Woods. I was hoping for some fungi, but didnât see any. I did get these though.
The last is of a sycamore, âthe Young Pretenderâ, which has a girth of 8m. It is only 300 years old, which is considerably younger than the nearby Birnam Oak.
Very nice captures with pleasing tones. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful! Did you use available light, or did you use some external/additional light source?
the lady with pink hair is just great. good stuff
Yeah, she was great. People are normally fine if you ask to take their pic. Helps if youâre with some other people so can say youâre doing a photo walk with a group, I think. There are so many street photographers wandering around
Wow, not a thing to be done to it. How did you expose the individual captures?
Manual mode, constant exposure params for all frames, âunderexposingâ (according to the meter) quite a bit to keep the details in the sky.
These are great, people in photos always create so much more interestâŚ
How many megapixels?!
Itâs an old 16 MPx Nikon. The stitched pano is not so large, because of the overlap, it was ~6500x4200 px. I didnât go for resolution, but rather for angle of view.
I was just asking out of morbid interest. Lovely pic
