Went scouting in the rain today. I just could not keep the lens from fogging or getting drops on it, but still had fun walking in a Pacific Northwest style drizzle. I want to come back here when there is proper fog and/or snow on the ground.

It was hotter inside than out, so I went to a park I haven’t visited often, to see what I could see. Not a terrible lot, as it would turn out. Still, could’ve been worse.

We’re under a heat dome right now and it’s too oppressive to be outside for very long. Fortunately I can still get some macro shots from my pollinator garden before the sun gets too high.
A leaf cutter bee on the bee balm
A tiny sweat bee, probably the most industrious pollinator in the garden right now. It’s maybe a 1/4 inch long and doesn’t sit still at all.

Thomas, I find the frame keeps drawing my eye away from the image … your usual framing technique is probably superior, IMO.
I will definitely not frame the image like that in RL. But here it was fun 
.
