Local Lab build

Hey @jdc
I would like to test the latest locallab, but currently there are 4 locallab branches. If I understand what’s happening correctly, then locallab, locallab_dev and localrgb can now be deleted, as newlocallab incorporates all of their changes. If that’s correct, could you delete them? OK but I keep localrgb

I have not update Rawpedia

You have the same “restrictions” than with “old locallab”.

Especially the limitations related to noisy images (chroma noise). See Rawpedia.
Indeed the shape / contour detection algorithm relies on the deltaE of color … and the noise comes to contradict this good detection and in some cases brings about artefacts. So there is a first phase of denoising … which may be insufficient (hence sometimes the need to act on “Denoise” … ) or to use a less efficient algorithm (normal)

I’ll rewrite completely “localrgb”, suppress

  • locallab incorporated
  • vibrance and exposure

And keep only “White balance module”

  • local WB
  • auto WB (perhaps in main menu)

But this will take some times …We are in summer and my family is here in Fréjus

I found a bug, in Exposure “black” !
I fixed this bug in last commit

Where is the new Locallab build with the changes in the new dev?

@jdc I suppose dngimage refers to “newlocallab” branch ?
I am making a W10 build.

Edit : done

I think also

Hey guys!
Yes, the newlocallab branch.

I can’t find the new one here:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2q9OrgyDEfPS2FpdDAtMVI1RG8

I only see this one: RawTherapee_locallab_dev_5.1-217-gdfffa2e8_WinVista_64.zip.

Surely a bug somewhere! uploaded again

@jdc What is strange is that it has the same change number as the dev branch.
So it seems to me to be identical to the dev branch
Edit : I have a problem in my local repository

Thanks @Morgan_Hardwood. Your hard work in making RT great is appreciated.

@jdc, the new local lab seems solid no crashes so far. Very cool! Merci.

Hello, everybody!
I found small but annoying error.
If I run RT from command line, rawtherapee (file) opens the (file), but rawtherapee (folder) opens empty editor window instead of file browser for (folder) :frowning:

Should I post a bug report for this?
