@sguyader @gaaned92 @ion12 we discovered that during the last month RawTherapee had a bug which resulted in the effects of the DCP tone curve not being shown in the main preview, and under certain conditions the saved image could exhibit artifacts where a large part of it would appear underexposed.
Both issues are solved, but both fixes not yet in the master or gtk3 branches. I’ll let you know as soon as they’re merged.
@Morgan_Hardwood I wasn’t available for a couple weeks, and I have started to make new builds. Should I hold on and wait for the fix to be merged into matter and Gtk3 branches?
I think so, or at least I won’t upload new builds to the website until those fixes are committed.
New Windows 32-bit builds are in my RT drive
master branch 4.2.913 (release and debug)
GTK3 branch 4.2.1060 (release and debug)
New Windows 64-bit builds can be downloaded from here:
After reinstalling MSYS2 due to a disk crash, I noticed that GCC new version is 5.4. So you will find in my RT drive
master branch 4.2.922 (release and debug)
GTK3 branch 4.2.1064 (release and debug)
built with GCC 5.4.0
913 and 1060 builds are still there.
I don’t know how to come back to GCC 5.3.
@gaaned92 there’s no need to go back to 5.3.
@gaaned92 @sguyader
I merged master into gtk3, they contain DCP bug fixes, cleanups and speedups.
@Morgan_Hardwood yes it contains only bug corrections and improvements. no major modification
you will find in my RT drive
master branch 4.2.922 (release and debug)
GTK3 branch 4.2.1074 (release and debug)
New Windows 64-bit builds (Release and Debug) can be downloaded from here:
Merci, Sébastien!
4.2.1074 (release) is very slow to start… I will investigate & see if I can come up with some clues as to why. After a l-o-n-g time, a pop-up screen tells me that RawTherapee is configured to look for Hald CLUT images...
Only first start or all starts?
@keno40 at all starts.
@heckflosse Yes, I have read that.
I uninstalled/reinstalled RT.
First start after that = about 6 seconds.
I set Hald CLUT folder → an empty folder.
Consecutive starts = about 6 seconds.
I set Hald CLUT folder → my CLUT folder.
Consecutive starts = about 7 seconds.
Did you set the folder in preferences or by editing the options file?
Moin!
I set it in preferences.

Ok, I asked because on my system there is one options file for gtk3 and one for gtk2 version of rt and I often edit the wrong one
