Is you tool then also a scene referred workflow like DT with ‘filmic rgb’ or ‘sigmoid’?
Probably you need less highlight recovery as you shoot to preserve highlights.

The particular toolchain you show is “scene-referred”, in that until the log-gamma curve the data is in the original energy-linear relationship established at the time of capture. Really, you can construct any workflow you want with rawproc, just open a raw and add the tools one-by-one to your whim. About the only restriction is that some tools only work on post-demosaic RGB data, others only on pre-demosaiced data, and they’ll complain if you add them in the wrong place.
Looks like you downloaded rawproc; if you’re going to mess with raw files, make sure the input.raw.libraw.rawdata is set to “crop”. A bit of legacy accommodation, to the time when I used dcraw to do the initial processing. After that, the help file is your friend, Help->View Help…
