Hi, I’m a visual effect artist and a programmer. Usually I’m using After Effects, but now I’m interested in node based compositor like Natron or Fusion. Open seperate openGL Context with OpenFx

Hello, i want to create a seperate openGL Context out of my openfx plugin. after studying openfx-misc plugins i came to the conclusion that it is only possible to draw in the image view of natron. is there any other way to initialize a seperate opengl context? what i tried: compile helloworld.exe and start via system ("helloworld.exe"); gluInit(argc,argv) in the createInstance() function of OFX when starting a exe out of ofx the communication between OFX and helloworld.exe is hard to d…

OpenFX Plugin Development/Debugging on Windows

Hello, i want to start develop my own OpenFX Plugin, but i am struggling with building my Development Enviroment and workflow. currently i use Visual Studio 2017 with the Visual Studio 2015 (v140) Toolchain for compiling Plugins are compiling correctly But for easier development and bug finding i would like to use the VS Debugger So i tried to attach natron-bin.exe and natron.exe to my debugger, but this didn’t work with resolve it worked this way so wich setup and workflow would you reco…

Hey thank you for the reply :D… I have searched that documentation, and if I’m not mistaken, it’s only the base SDK, and as far as I know, there’s no library to do sampling in the base SDK. And I have found this https://github.com/NatronGitHub/openfx-supportext I think there’s what I need, but it seems, this code doesn’t have any documentation… ._.
