PlayRaw stuff to keep in mind

Thank you for the recent contributions on the PlayRaw threads! These are awesome ways to share and learn from each other!

Licensing

Please don’t forget to explicitly state the license that you are releasing your raw files under on the PlayRaw threads! It’s important to be clear about what your intentions and our rights are for using these! Ideally, we’d like to see raw files licensed as liberally as possible. A good recommendation would be at least Creative Commons, By-Attribution, Share-Alike.

The easiest way to add this to your contributions would be to use some simple boilerplate text like,

CC-BY-SA:

This file is licensed ![Creative Commons, By-Attribution, Share-Alike](//pixls-discuss.s3.amazonaws.com/original/2X/d/d3d2017cd83ef08097beaad445d5e296b2125aff.png)
([Creative Commons, By-Attribution, Share-Alike](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/))

Which will render as:

This file is licensed Creative Commons, By-Attribution, Share-Alike
(Creative Commons, By-Attribution, Share-Alike)

If you do use CC-BY-SA, please let us know how you’d like us to attribute you as well (or at least which name you’d like to be used).

For easy copy-paste reference, here’s the code for some other Creative Commons options:

CC-BY:

Tags

Also, don’t forget to add the appropriate tag to your posts so they can get sorted with the other PlayRaw threads!

You can find tags at the bottom of the composer window, remember to use the tag play_raw (not playraw):
